Have you ever wanted to make your own soap, but do not want to work with lye? Working with my rebatch soap shreds will eliminate that part of the process, and you'll be able to get to the fun stuff.... adding fragrance and color to the soap! And if you prefer your soap all natural, you do not need to add fragrance and color. Just melt down the soap and glop it into molds. Wait about 24 hours to unmold the soap, and you can use it right away. You do not need to wait 6-8 weeks for the soap to cure, because the lye has already been cooked out of the soap.
The soap shreds are made just like all my handmade soap, and then hand-shredded with a dedicated grater specifically for shredding soap. Shredding the soap makes it easier to work with, and easier to melt down. I will include instructions with each order. The instructions use the "Crock Pot Rebatch" soap making method, but there are many other ways to melt down the soap, and you may have a different preference.
I have several varieties to choose from. You will receive TEN POUNDS of the type of soap you choose.
The base ingredients for each type include: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Avocado Oil, Almond Oil, Shea Butter, distilled water, and sodium hydroxide (cooked out in my process).
The Pet Safe rebatch is made with Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Almond Oil, Sunflower Oil, Shea Butter, distilled water and sodium hydroxide.
